Elections:

Activities Commission is a student-elected board of programmers. Each Spring, and when necessary in the Fall, the board interviews and votes in new members for each open position. Check back here for updates and information. More detailed descriptions of positions can be found on this website, under the Positions tab above. Questions regarding elections should be directed to the AC Vice-Chair, BJ Goehle, via email (bjg2@geneseo.edu) with "elections" as the subject line, or email actcomm@geneseo.edu for general election information.

Elections Timeline:

Applications are due FRIDAY April 1, 2011 by 4:00pm.

Interviews will be held during the AC General Board Meeting on Thursday, April 7th, 2011 at 7:00 pm, and on the following Thursday April 14th, 2010 at 7:00pm, if necessary. Applicants will be e-mailed a specific interview time (generally along a schedule of 15-minute time slots). If your assigned time presents a conflict with your schedule, please contact the AC Chair or Vice Chair.

Checklist:

Below is a short list of helpful ways to familiarize yourself with AC and make sure you have a great interview! Please note, these are NOT required, but are strongly recommended.

  • Attend at least one AC General Board Meeting (Thursdays at 7:00 pm in the College Union Board Room, Rm. 351).
  • Contact the board member who currently fills the position you are applying for.
  • Review the AC Constitution.
  • Review the outline of your desired position as per the AC Constitution and as per the information listed on the AC website.
