maiden names):

J. Carol Gringer Bergstrom '60
Anne C. Lounsbery Owens '60
Nancy R. Fritz Woolston '60
Judith A. Gute House '60
Carol L. Robsky Billett '61
We assume they are all Ago alumnae. If anyone knows them or has more information
about why and how the corporation began, please email
us. We would love to start piecing together more of our history!
We would like to recognize the following women who were previous members
of Alpha Kappa Phi, Inc.
Mary Montemarano
- Mary was not one of our alumnae, yet she oversaw the day to day operations
of the Ago House, and acted as advisor to the sisters from the mid 1970s
until 1984.
Mary Jo Armstrong
Johnson '58 - An Ago alum, Mary Jo served as advisor to the sisters from
1985 to 1999. Read about the award that
is given away in her honor each year.
Ann Wiedenbeck Galbraith
'89 was instrumental in starting and implementing the first award of the
Alpha Kappa Phi Scholarship.
Mary Tsikalakis Bistrovich
'93 - Also an Ago alum, Mary took over in 1999 and served as advisor until
Fall 2004. She stepped down from the advisor position with the birth of
her baby girl, but is still a contributing member of the corporation board
and maintains the Ago website.
Mary Pascucci Matychak
'87 - Another alum, Mary served as the corporation secretary until she
relocated to Massachusetts in Spring 2003.
Jennifer Kluge Sparcino
'87 - Also an alum, Jennifer acted as the corporation treasurer for many
years until she stepped down due to the adoption of a new baby girl. Congratulations
Jenny!
