The funds raised this year were put towards three main items: the staircase,
floor in the foyer, and savings account for an addition we hope to add in
the future.
Final touches put on the staircase included the final clear coat on the
staircase and banister, and installation of a carpet runner. We chose to
install the carpet runner to help preserve the staircase and for safety
reasons.
We also took the first step towards replacing all of the floors on the
first level. We started by doing the floor in the foyer. This will allow
us to test out the new floor, a heavy-duty wood laminate, before we go ahead
with the rest of the larger rooms. It looks beautiful and is working out
great!
Thank you so much to those of you who were able to contribute to the Ago
House Fund! Without your generosity we would not be able to make these much
needed improvements to maintain the state of our home. Check back here for
