What is Recruitment?
Recruitment can best be described as an introduction to Greek Life. This
introduction takes place as you meet active members in an informal or formal
setting. During Informal and Formal Rush, you will develop a better understanding
of the sorority system and of which sorority is best suited to your interests.
Keep an open mind during Recruitment and meet as many people as you can from
every organization. If you decide to pledge, you'll find that sisterhood is
a wonderful, lifelong journey. Don't forget, freshman cannot pledge their
first semester at SUNY Geneseo, but you are more than welcome to recruit!

AKPhi Informal:

Get in a New York State of mind with the Sisters of Alpha Kappa Phi!
Ok, so it's not really New York City, but we can pretend! We promise there
will be good food, good laughs and a good time had by all.
Old Maid's Breakfast:
Tuesday February 8, 7:30am - 8:30am
Have an 8:30 class? Sick of eating dining hall bagels? Feel like getting
up at the crack of dawn? Whatever the reason, come up to the Ago House
for our traditional Old Maid's Breakfast (on us) with the Sisters. We
have been hosting this breakfast during recruitment for many years! Stay
as short or as long as you want. Why is it called the Old Maid's Breakfast?
You'll have to come to find out!
AKPhi Formal:
Tuesday February 12 (by invitation only)
Get dressed to impress at the AKPhi Formal. Dinner and entertainment
provided.
