The Alliance for Business Growth is a partnership between the economic development offices of Livingston and Wyoming Counties. The objective of the Alliance is to encourage entrepreneurship and assist small business owners throughout both counties by providing FREE or low-cost assistance.
The Business Ownership Training Course (formerly MAP) provides formal classroom instruction and individual training to prospective entrepreneurs and small business owners. The Downtown Revitalization Program (DRP) assists small businesses locating in the targeted downtown districts of four selected villages in Wyoming County and seven villages in Livingston County through the Rent Subsidy Program and the Essential Goods and Services Program. Capital financing is also available through the economic development offices of either county.
By combining these programs, and the resources of both counties, the Alliance has encouraged and supported a wide variety of small businesses that have contributed to the economic growth of Livingston & Wyoming Counties.
