Welcome to BBBS !

Big Brothers Big Sisters of SUNY Geneseo is a student run organization. Children ages 6-16 from throughout Livingston County are matched with Geneseo college students. After being properly interviewed, screened, and trained, “bigs” spend a minimum of 3 hours a week with their “little” doing different activities and are also encouraged to attend scheduled BBBS events. Big Brothers Big Sisters is an excellent mentoring program because “bigs” serve as a positive older role model for their “little” by spending time with them, while also playing the role of a “big brother or sister”.   Bigs are required to have a car, but if anyone is interested in joining BBBS and does not have a car, caseworker positions are also available.
