|| return to top of page What is my Class Standing? Class Standings are determined two different ways. The more common way is by credits, according to the following chart: | Total Credits | Credit Class | | 0-29 | Freshman / First-year | | 30-59 | Sophomore | | 60-89 | Junior | | 90+ | Senior | The other way to determine class standing is by your peer group. For instance, those students entering Geneseo for their first year of college in Fall 2007 identify with the Class of 2011 as their cohort class. The cohort class can be changed based on the credit class. The officers of each class understand that class standings are confusing, especially because many things are based off of one type of standing or the other. Please don't hesitate to contact or visit the registrar in Erwin Hall if there is still any confusion.

to its members and provide the best programming tailored to class members' desires. Any program ideas will eventually be directed to the Programming Chair, which, as no appointment has been made, is the President. Unless otherwise stated, the Class of 2011 welcomes guests (visiting college students, alumni, siblings, parents, and friends) to all of its events. The Class of 2011 generally engages in the coordination of family-friendly programming, which will be suitable for all ages. However, should any restrictions be placed on a certain event, they will be advertised along with the program. || return to top of page I'm interested in helping to staff an event. Where do I sign-up and what does it entail? Information on staffing of events will be released no later than two weeks before the event. With whom and what is required to sign-up for each event will be public knowledge by that time. Those who have volunteered in the past will be contacted first, then a class e-mail may be distributed. || return to top of page When are Class T-Shirts released? Will there be more sold in the fall? Class T-Shirts are released during the second half of each spring semester. Additional shirts will be available in the fall of each year, but only for a limited time. || return to top of page How is the shirt design selected? Class Officers will accept design proposals via e-mail. Then, class members are invited to vote for their favorite design in an online survey. The winning design becomes the official class t-shirt for that academic year. || return to top of page I purchased a shirt from Spring 2008, but have yet to receive it. When can I get it? We know who you are! We promise we'll get those shirts to you within the first couple of weeks of the Fall 2008 semester. If you have not received your shirt by September 15, 2008, please contact Nick Duell directly. Thank you so much for your patience! || return to top of page
