2. Click 'Computer'
3. Click through the following folders:
C: - > Program Files -> Matlab -> 2010ra
4. Go into the 'flexlm' folder
5. Open 'network.lic'
If your computer asks what program to use, select notepad.
6. Directly after the word 'license2' type '.geneseo.edu' without the quotes.
So that part should now say 'license2.geneseo.edu'
7. Select File->Save as...
8. Save the file to your desktop, make sure the "Filename" box says network.lic, and the File Tye Box is switched to "All Files"
9. Move the file you just created on your desktop into the Flexlm folder you still have open from before.
10. Right click the newtwork.lic file and select Copy
11. Go up one level (back to the r2010a folder) and then go into the 'licenses' folder
12. Right click some empty space in this folder, and select paste.
13. If it won't allow you to paste there, paste the file on your desktop, and drag it to the licenses folder.
14. Matlab should start.
