Reference Responsibilities of the Service Desk for Circ Staff & Students

1. Understand Service Expectations

2. Assist with basic services available through the Milne Library Website (logging into requesting materials through IDS, renewals, course reserves, etc...)

3. Perform catalog searches if given an author, book title, or call number

4. Record all questions in LibStats and review LibStats to keep abreast of Frequently Asked Questions
