Meeting Minutes: Sunday, October 19, 2003
Assorted Business:
Sign up sheets for the next two horse shows went
around(Patterson's-Nazareth and Alfred). For those of you who did not
come to the meeting ***If you want to show in either/both of these shows
your need to email Julieann and tell her by Tuesday! (in like two days
Tuesday :P, no later)*** Here's the deal with Alfred...we need handlers
and riders(of course!)So, tell what days you can show and/or handle and/or
be warm up riders or whatnot. Please be clear so we know when you are
available, thanks.
We collected Rugby money (good news! He's back home! Go visit him if
you're at the barn and give him kisses!!)
Fundraising!!! All team members are required to do this fundraising
event. We will be selling ~45 candy bars (1 box) for two weeks around
thanksgiving (11/16 - 11/30). Bring them home, sell them to 'rents and
hit up for relatives! Anyway around it, you owe ~$45 on 11/30. On the
side note, that meeting (11/30) will be later at 8:30 at night, for those
of you driving back to school and if you are not back by then, call Marcy
and she will stay up 'til she gets your money!! More emails to come on
that...
State Line Tack!!! Next weekend we are planning a trip to the State Line
Tack store up Rochester way. We're thinking Saturday, early, sometime,
let Anne know if you want to go and what time you would like to go.
Julieann is selling a helmet (size 7 1/4) if you'd like, let her know!
For those of you showing, you boots will probably be small, or may shrink,
or you may have grown, so before you go to your first show, try them on!
We will be happy you to try and find you a pair that does fit, if yours
doesn't.
We would like to get the long winter/showing team jackets but we do not
know the company where we got them, so we are looking for people to search
online for possible jackets or for the old company. If you find anything
or have an idea, let one of the officers know.
If you payed for a long sleeve T-shirt and did not get one, let Julieann
know and she will get you one
Sweatshirts!! If you ordered a sweatshirt they are in. Julieann has them
at her townhouse (#43), so if you want it, IM/call her and see if she's
there so you can go get 'em.
X-mas party!! We are possibly having a x-mas party. More will be out on
that.
Barn News
- Kim would like to remind you to sweep up
after your self before you go out for your lesson.
- One of Kim's and Kelly's most favored horses, Phoebe, has been very sick
and last we knew they were planning on putting her down on Sunday
(11/19-today). Just so you are aware of that next time you go to the
barn. It's very sad :( We will miss her
