The College constructed another new residence hall in the North Village. It is an architectural complement to Putnam Residence Hall. This facility houses 84 students and provides study, meeting and seminar rooms. Kitchen and laundry rooms will include lounge space and will be on each of the four occupied floors. It provides covered, exterior connections to Genesee and Ontario Residence Halls. The project uses geothermal “ground source” heat pump mechanical systems for building heating. This project required a large number of bore holes in the ground east of the site that extend 400 feet below the surface!
