Abundant Wildlife Society of North America

     "INFORM YOURSELF -- HELP WILDLIFE -- PROTECT YOUR FREEDOM" is their
motto. This group stresses conservation-- conservation being "the management
of wildlife by man"-- as opposed to environmentalism.  The are pro hunting
because thinning out numbers is essential to maintaining healthy game,
but are opposed to the reintroduction of natural predators that as often
kill livestock and spread diseases such as rabies.  They also support the
varying forms of profitable land use such as mining, grazing, and logging.
They also seem to support private property rights, which they describe as "the
only basis to REAL FREEDOM".
