  • IFES gives description of IFES involvement in elections. Provides interesting .pdf file on election observing guidelines, questions and forms that election observers should fill out.

  • Ace Electoral Knowledge Network  Information resource on election administration.

  • Adam Carr's Election Archives great resource, website maintained by author Adam Carr, contains up to date information on elections all over the world, updated frequently. Also has maps of electoral districts.

  • Arab Election Law Compendium The compendium addresses the neglected topic of electoral systems in the Arab world. It includes full texts of laws, background on the election process in ten Arab countries and detailed analysis of each law prepared by notable regional experts.

  • Election Resources  Contains links to country specific pages also a multitude of other helpful links when investigating election policy, candidates, etc.

  • Election Guide provides election calendars, information on electoral structures, parties and candidates, and previous elections. Links to country election authorities, summaries of election results, data on voter turnout, and real-time results. It also offers selective links to the best information on each election.

Regional Election Resources

  • Electoral Process in Post-Communist Europe Project  provides Eastern European regional information on democratic transitions from communist  states. Focuses primarily on former members of USSR, provides election results, candidate data, and constituency data. Sponsored by University of Essex.

  • Eurasia Net - user friendly site, very easy to use, includes maps of regions, recent headlines, and resource links in every category imaginable. All information pertains to Eurasia.

  • Political Database of the Americas Regional information for the Americas. Useful for simple statistics on election results and candidate winning percentages, also has links to constitutions and information about political structures.

  • African Elections Database comprehensive user friendly resource on elections in Africa, updated frequently

  • Political Database on the Americas A comprehensive site run by Georgetown University

  • EISA South African run resource on elections and government in Africa.  Updated frequently with relevant information on African nations.

  • ACEEEO Website for the organization supporting Central and Eastern European election officials.
