Purpose

"The purpose of this club is to provide an organization for those students who are interested in learning the martial art of Karate, as well as its philosophy and history."

That's the official purpose of the club as stated in our constitution, but there is no one real purpose for the Geneseo Karate Club. For some, the club serves as a way to stay in shape. For others, it gives confidence through knowing self defense and learning how to focus. Some members even compete in tournaments, but for all, its just plain fun.
