KDP Epsilon Tau Chapter: Home

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, was founded March 8, 1911, at the University of Illinois. Organized to recognize excellence in education, KDP elects those to membership who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and promise in teaching and allied professions. It encourages improvement, distinction in achievement, and contributions to education. KDP is an honor society of, about, and for educators. Selection as a member of KDP is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession.

The Epsilon Tau Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi membership includes over 60 active students, faculty, and the Executive Board. Awarded for their academic achievement, these members promise to uphold KDP's ideology and improve the field of education. Recognized by SUNY Geneseo's Ella Cline Shear School of Education and the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences, the Epsilon Tau chapter is an honor society that pledges to give back to the community that has supported Geneseo's education and communicative disorders and sciences students for decades.
