My research training was in the areas of set theory and logic. In
particular, I have published papers dealing with infinitary combinatorics
and large cardinals. I have placed a couple of my papers
here. They are LaTeX and/or .pdf files that
you are welcome to download.
More recently I have become interested in modeling and applications
of mathematics to biology. Geneseo has been awarded a National Science Foundation grant to help us develop undergraduate research at the interface of mathematics and biology. Our lab's website is here.
I have also been fortunate enough to work with members of the Institut für Medizinische Biometrie at the University of Tübingen. The web site describing some of their work is here.

Bibliography
As part of the Undergraduate Faculty Program at the 2001 Park City
Mathematics Institute, Tom Judson, Mike Breen and I began a compilation
of journal articles relating to the teaching of differential equations
in an undergraduate setting. The results of our project can be found here.
