Problems for Final Exam

Although they are treated separately for calculation of the course grade, MiniTest 5 and the Final Exam will effectively be merged into a single test. They will use the same equation sheet, will be handed out at the same time and collected at the same time.

The Final Exam part will have problems in each of the topic areas in the following table for a total of rougly 15 problems.

The first three rows are basic topics from the course.
The remainder were chosen based on those problems from the first 4 MiniTests on which the class as a whole performed the least well; the corresponding MiniTest problems are shown.
- The problems on the final will not necessarily be "just like" the MiniTest problems, but the skills and knowledge tested will be the same.
- In a few cases the Final topic is a broadened a bit compared to the MiniTest problem, as indicated by words in [square brackets].
