Final scores for MiniTest 5 and Final Exam

This page will show you your scores on MiniTest 5 and the Final Exam.  It does not show final course grades; those can be accessed through KnightWeb.  The course grade distribution is shown below, however.

For MiniTest 5, there was a moderately hefty upwards scaling.  This mostly reflects that on the two problems about string frequencies, it was possible to show that you knew a lot of the material, but still get the problem wrong.  The scaled average and median were 74% and 79%.

For the Final — OMG, what a rollercoaster.  On the one hand, there were problems that I was delighted to see the class pretty much nail.  On the other, there were some that were just abysmal, bottoming out with the number of people who said that the time waveform for a harmonic spectrum "NEVER" repeats when one of the pre-announced problem types was "obtaining period from a harmonic spectrum."  I just don't understand what went wrong there.  In the end, the average and median were 73% and 77%.
Note that there is a small upward scaling on the Final Exam.  Because the exam was out of 105 points, you may notice that your percentage score is smaller than your raw points.
