Hearing Test Information

Everyone in the class will hopefully have an opportunity to have a very basic hearing test done, which we will use in a homework problem around the middle of the semester.  The tests are performed in the Speech and Hearing Clinic in 201 Sturges. You will need to bring a copy of an Audiological Report form.  If you need to print a copy, click here.

In order to organize this, everyone will need to sign up for an appointment time.  The test only takes about 10 minutes.  To pick an appointment time,  follow these steps:

• Log in to mycourses.geneseo.edu.
• Click the link for this course (PHYS-101-01).
• Click to the "Course Materials" tab.
• Click on "Hearing Test Appointments", which is a wiki editable by anyone in the course.
• From the menu on the right of the screen, select one of the 6 time blocks available.  It will expand onto the left of the screen, and you will see a table of appointment times.
• Move your mouse pointer over the table, and click on the "edit" link that pops up near the table's title.
• Type your name next to the appointment time you desire.
• Click the "save" link near the table's title.

Note that the Xs and Os on your test indicate left and right ears.
