NARD - Solos
I thought this might be interesting... If you've at all curious as to how each of our voices sounds in a solo capacity, here's your chance. Now that we all have voice-ish majors (more or less :)), we have to sing classical repertoire in recitals. Here are four recordings of us singing songs on our own - the accompanist is none other than the amazing Alan Case. Enjoy!

"After watching these, all I have to say is: Sweet Jesus, you guys are messed up."
We know. But you're watching them again, right?
These are all the videos we have available at the moment. Some of them are special things we did during concerts(I.E Coney Island Puppet) and the others are because, well, we get bored from time to time(The Miracle of Oinkbert). All our videos are currently on youtube to save us some space; I've embedded the viewer within the page so you can click on it and watch the video while surfing the site. Lastly, at various points in these videos, we all swear, Rob gives birth, and we sometimes get killed by ferocious creatures that live in our townhouse's heating ducts. With that said, view discretion is advised.

Forever Plaid (May, 2008)
Presented by NARD and Vocal Miscellany
Arranged by James Raitt, Written by Stuart Ross
Program (formatting may be a bit off)(From Wikipedia)"Forever Plaid is an off-Broadway musical comedy written in New York in 1990 and now performed internationally. The critically acclaimed show is an affectionate revue of the close-harmony "guy groups" (e.g. The Four Aces, The Four Freshmen) that reached the height of their popularity during the 1950s."
Forever Plaid was performed as one of our final projects at Geneseo, and was likely our biggest and most difficult undertaking. NARD managed to squeeze into the School of the Arts performance schedule, and were graciously allowed use of the Alice Austin theatre. With performances at 2:00 PM and 11:00 PM (to avoid conflicts with Pillowman, an excellent VEGSoup with a run the same weekend) we spent our spring break in Geneseo learning the music with Alan Case (our friend, mentor, vocal coach, professor, and director) and then the following weeks putting together choreography, rehearsing lines, arranging costumes, props, crew, etc. We received a significant amount of assistance with lighting, as well as props and the lobby display (which was incredible) from many of our good friends and we were extremely fortunate to have their help.

KAJINGA! (December, 2007)
Script, Props, and Costumes Lighting Diagram Program (formatting may be a bit off)KAJINGA! was our last Christmas Show, and because of that, we sort of went all out with it and tried a lot of new and different things. The set was *by far* the most extensive we've ever had (it took days to put it all together), the script was the longest it's ever been, the lighting and scene changes were the most complicated, and we used a lot of music in addition to our own barbershop tunes.

Celebré: A NARD Christmas Spectacular (December, 2006)
Script Program (formatting may be a bit off)Celebré was the second of our Christmas shows, and while it turned out... alright (particularly considering the amount of time we put into it) we really wished we had more time to make it into a stronger show. Nevertheless, there are some good moments in it, and we took much of what we learned from it and put it into the next year's show, KAJINGA.

A Very NARD Christmas (December, 2005)
ScriptA Very NARD Christmas began, as most comedic ideas do, with a man in a dress (Alexander as the virgin Mary). Soon, we each had roles, and then we began to construct an elaborate scenario that featured a dream sequence. Honestly, though we did work very hard on this show, the ideas just sort of came out of nowhere for it and happened to fall together. That's NARD for ya, I guess.
