Auditions
The band has no auditions. Any experience with an instrument, even if it was back in middle school, is adequate for joining the band. Our music is of various levels and members talents range from music majors to those not having played since middle school.

Costs
There is a one time $10.00 dues fee the first year you join the band. This money helps offset some of the bands costs during the year. Members should also plan to buy a shirt (or two), during their first year. This shirt will last for your entire time with the band.

Uniforms
The band has tie dye shirts that we wear. Members are required to buy their own shirt. Keep in mind that these shirts will be used every year by the band, so you will not need to reorder.
T-Shirts cost ~$15.00
Long Sleeve Shirts cost ~ $20.00
Sweatshirt Hoodies cost ~$45.00
(we play in the ice rink, so hoodies and long sleeve are a good choice.)

Instruments
The band owns very few instruments and most members use their own. We can possible arrange with the school to borrow instruments, but this is extremely difficult. The band does own 2 tubas and some drums.

Rehearsals
The band rehearses Wednesday nights from 8 to 9. We will begin rehearsals ~4 weeks before the hockey season starts and will rehearse every week that we have an event that upcoming weekend.
