11.5.09 - Physics hoodie is almost finalized! Go here and vote between the two styles based on the consensus from the last physics meeting.
10.30.09 - Last night the schedules were released for Co-ed broomball this semester. Here are the dates and times that the Physics club team "We've Got Potential" will be playing:
Sunday, November 8 - 11:00pm (Full Ice)
Monday, November 16 - 1:00am (Full Ice) Technically this is 1am on Tuesday, November 17
Wednesday, December 2 - 11:30pm (Half Ice)
Again, anyone in the Physics department anyone is invited to play, just show up 10 minutes before the times listed above at the hockey rink in Merritt Athletic building.
10.25.09 - As usual, Physics Club will be sponsoring a Broomball team this semester. Anyone associated with the department is welcome to play. The games are typically around 11 or midnight on weeknights at the Merritt hockey rink. The schedule has yet to be set, but keep checking for updates.
9.27.09 - We have officially kicked off the first installment of the Physics Brothers and Sisters (PBS) program. Last week the freshmen "littles" were introduced to their upperclassmen "Bigs". For anyone still interested there is a chance we could still make some more pairings so please email physclub@geneseo.edu. We hope the program will be a success and lead to a more involved program in the future.
9.26.09 - Fall 2009 is here and with that comes new officers and events. Congratulations to all the officers and although we still need some last minute positions filled (Namely an AAC Rep), it should be a great year. Also, Dr. George Marcus has is in his second year of physics club advisor since taking over for Dr. Steve Padalino. Everything will be updated soon so keep checking the website.
