It's almost April and you know what that means!  April is OUR month.  This year to celebrate gay pride month we will be cosponsoring an event to bring Valerie Mason John to campus.  Valerie is an author, poet, performer, and trainer in self development.  She was also named as Britain's "Black Gay Icon."  I urge you to read a little more about her at her website: http://www.valeriemason-john.co.uk/.  The day she is scheduled to come is April 4th, we will update with the time soon.  During April we also put on our drag ball.  This year it is scheduled for April 13th in the Knightspot.  We also participate in the Day of Silence which will be on April 18th this year.
