What have we found? Some highlights include...

--a newspaper clipping about a planned boycott of discriminatory downtown Geneseo stores that was "averted" in 1963

-- articles and photographs about the Northern Student Movement chapter at Geneseo

-- discussions of the 1964 Rochester Riots

-- debate about changing the name of the College Union in the wake of the assassination of Martin Luther King

--a very brief history of the influx of African-American students in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

-- photographs of African-American students who attended the college in the 1960s and early 1970s

-- a list of demands from Black students of this era, including their call for the creation of a Black Studies program, more Black faculty, and a more diverse student body.
