Responsible for developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary, secondary and special education programs primarily related to methods of teaching science and mathematics. Also responsible for advising students, supervising student teachers, serving on committees, research, professional presentations, publications and public service.

Energy Technology Projects, College of Engineering The Pennsylvania State University University Park, PA June 1986-September 1986 As a Science Education Specialist, developed innovative curriculum materials and activities and public information programs for youth and adult audiences on science and energy-related topics.

Department of Nuclear Engineering The Pennsylvania State University University Park, PA January 1985 to June 1986 As a Graduate Assistant, developed curriculum materials on radiation, advised staff on program evaluation and teacher education.

Bald Eagle Area High School Wingate, PA September 1975 to June 1978 As a classroom teacher in a 14-member department, taught grades 7, 8 and 9 using Intermediate Science Curriculum Series (ISCS), Earth Science Curriculum Project (ESCP), and Intermediate Ideas in Science (IIS) curricula. During the period September 1976 to June 1977 also directed a Title III multi-disciplinary outdoor education program for sixth grade students.
