The Music

The Music Directors at WGSU receive all sorts of music from around the country and around the world, and we personally listen to every CD that arrives at the station. Though we lean mostly toward lesser known rock and pop music, we will gladly review your release.

The Music Staff

The WGSU Music Staff is a group of WGSU DJs and friends which acts as a second opinion for the music directors, and also finds the best and the innappropriate tracks on new releases. The group meets every Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm at the WGSU Offices (Basement of Blake B) to discuss new music, and other important things. To join, just show up!

Of Montreal, The White Stripes, Spoon, Maria Taylor, The Cribs, The Cat Empire, Calvin Johnson, Arthur and Yu, Handsome Furs, Lily Allen, Bjork, !!!, Aqualung, Oh No Oh My, Metric, Joanna Newsom, Feist, The Dismemberment Plan, Broken Social Scene, The Decemberists.
