Joined NYS DEC Spring 2003 to check on an orphaned female bear that was rehabilitated and put back into the wild . . .

We spotted a small bear on July 13, 2003 running across a field next to ours . . . look close!

I discovered momma bear and three yearling cubs in our yard on June 14, 2004. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me, but maybe next time . . .
