The Religious Studies Minor provides you with an opportunity to gain a critical understanding of the role of religion in the development of human perspectives and in society. The program involves a selection of courses in the study of religious texts, modes of thought, socio-political behavior, and Western and non-Western experiences. Eight courses comprise the minor.
The Religious Studies Minor is often combined with a major in anthropology, English, history, philosophy or related area. The program provides excellent preparation for graduate school or careers in ministry, teaching, and research.
