My position title "Instructional Support Specialist" does little to describe the work assigned to the people who hold this position at Geneseo. It is a catch-all phrase which is defined in lengthy performance programs describing multiple tasks.
For myself, it includes:
- Stockroom
- Purchasing
- Budget and Accounts
- Programming Visual Basic, Python
- Environmental Health and Safety
- Inventory Control
- Repair and Maintenance
- Pest Control
- Bat catcher - the fury little winged mammals
- Greenhouse
- Plus a variety of requests from Faculty
