Career Planning

Whether you are at the very beginning of your career path or about to change direction after years in your field, the Office of Career Development is here to help!  Whether a current student or an alum, please feel free to make an appointment with a career development professional in our office to discuss career exploration issues. Along with our physical resources in Erwin 116, we offer several excellent online career planning resources. Here are a few examples of our resources:

Strengths Quest:    A web-based assessment that focuses on your personal strengths and talents. This requires a follow-up appointment with an Office of Career Development counselor who will help you to interpret your results.

Strong Interest Inventory:     A web-based career assessment that focuses on interests, for students and alumni. A follow-up appointment with an Office of Career Development counselor will help you to best utilize your results.
