Associate Director for Internship Opportunities
Rob is very excited about his role as the Associate Director for Internship Opportunities in the Department of Career Development. His role is to connect students with internships, develop programs, and support academic departments. He was previously the Assistant Director for Career Services at SUNY Brockport and holds a B.A in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. Rob plays several instruments including piano, guitar and bass and has been in several rock and blues bands.
Jessie Stack Lombardo
Jessie completed her MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State College and a BA in Psychology from the University at Buffalo. Jessie’s roots are as a career counselor, where she has many years of experience coaching a diverse student, alumni, and community population at her previous institution, Buffalo State College. She enjoys mentoring and training new practitioners, working with alumni employers to teach students about the world-of-work and skills to secure employment, as well as teaching and presenting on a wide variety of career related topics. In her current role as Associate Director, Jessie is committed to connecting students to the incredible network of SUNY Geneseo alumni. In her time away from work, Jessie enjoys adventures with her two children.
Shanna is a recent master’s degree recipient of Nazareth College. While pursuing her Master’s of Science in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration, Shanna worked with students in career services at Nazareth College and Monroe Community College. Shanna enjoys helping students develop who they are as a professional through career advisement and counseling. In her spare time, she loves cooking and hosting parties for friends and family along with watching movies that include super heroes and villains of every variety. Secretary I/ Internship Assistant
Michelle has worked in many different industries ranging from Health Services, to Engineering/Drafting, and Business & Information. Her diverse career paths have given Michelle the ability to empathize with individuals who continue to search for their niche in life. Michelle is an Alfred State College alumnus earning a Bachelor of Business Administration - Technology Management degree.
Office Assistant I/Recruiting Assistant
Amy joined the Career Development team in May 2017. Her last job was a Medical Secretary at an OBGYN office. Other past jobs of Amy’s include a Rehab Assistant and Office Secretary and Manager in a physical therapy office and an Associate Buyer for a home textiles catalog company. She graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Spanish. She has an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In her free time, she spends time with her husband and her 9 year-old son. She also loves to craft, from quilting to making seasonal door wreaths and decorations.

Bukurie is a psychology major in her junior year. She is a member of club volleyball. When she isn’t on campus, you can probably find her at Wendy’s or at the bowling alley. Bukurie plans to become a lawyer post-graduation.
Fun fact: ukurie knows three languages: English, Yugoslavian, Albanian.
Nawang is a junior communication major. Outside of classes, he participates in Theta Chi and is president of the Himalayan Student Association. Nawang loves playing basketball and spending time with friends. In the future, he aspires to work in the travel industry.
Fun fact: Nawang climbed the tallest mountain in New York State: Mt. Marcy.
Rachel Choset '19
Rachel is a senior communication major with a minor in sociology. Outside of classes, she is a member of Alpha Sigma Tau and Alpha Phi Omega. She is a GOLD leader and she used to be a Resident Assistant. Her favorite place on campus is the Union where she can get plenty of Starbucks. In the future, Rachel would like to be a television broadcaster/producer.
Fun fact: Rachel met actress Amy Poehler (and has read her book Yes Please 16 times)!
Joe Burke '19
Joe is a senior business administration major. He is an involved member of Kappa Sigma and the Student Management Investment Fund. When he’s not busy, his favorite thing to do in Geneseo is visit Bar-Eat-O for chips and guac. After college, Joe plans to be a healthcare consultant.
Fun fact: Joe met many of his relatives for the first time this year in Italy.
Catherine White '19
Catherine is a senior English and communication major. She is the editor-in-chief of The Lamron and a member of Sigma Tau Delta. During her down time, you can find Catherine on the college green eating Chowhound. Post-college, Catherine hopes to obtain a career in public relations and marketing in the entertainment or sports industry.
Fun fact: Catherine was in England for the Royal Wedding during summer 2018.
Gabrielle is a senior communication major. Outside of classes, she is the president of Between the Lines and a member of Sigma Kappa. Her favorite place to be is Sweet Arts Bakery where she can be found drinking a chai tea latte. In the future, she plans to work in public relations in Rochester.
Fun fact: Gabrielle worked at an amusement park during her summers as a high school and college student.
