Our students present their research at local, regional and national conferences.
Chemistry Club hosts an annual Mole Day event for the local community.
The Department sponsors social events to build community and relationships among students, faculty, and staff.
Bringing Theory to Practice
In addition to coursework, Geneseo's Chemistry Department provides students opportunities to participate in cutting-edge research with faculty mentors in a variety of fields. A newly funded program in the Department provides research experiences to all chemistry majors beginning in their first-year.

Clubs and Honors Societies
There are several student-run clubs on campus for Chemistry and Biochemistry majors, including the Chem Club and the Biochem Club. Students are eligible to participate in a number of national honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa and Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the national Chemistry Honor Society.
