Are you a new student joining the Geneseo community this fall?
Registration for incoming first year and transfer students is coordinated by the Office of Academic Planning & Advising. Faculty advisors assist students registering for courses remotely throughout the spring and summer. Using the information provided in the Registration Queue form you'll complete, a faculty advisor will build your fall schedule. They will be in contact with you regarding coursework, subjects you're interested in studying, possible scheduling restrictions, major requirements, and any additional information that is needed.
You'll be contacted soon about filling out the Registration Queue form.
What if I need to make changes because of COVID-19?
If you need to make schedule changes to your fall schedule due to the instructional mode (i.e., online, hybrid, face-to-face), please complete the Course Change Form. The Office of Academic Planning & Advising is available to assist you prior to open registration for scheduling assistance based on the format of course delivery. Students will also have the opportunity to change their schedules directly during the open registration period: Monday, August 3rd- Sunday, August 30th, and during the first week of classes ("Drop and Add" period).
For information on how to change your schedule during the open registration period, please consider attending a virtual information session:
