Cancellation and No Show

The cancellation and no-show policies apply to all health and counseling appointments including CCRN, ACP, and psychiatrist appointments. These policies are included in our Consent for Treatment that all students acknowledge at the start of their Geneseo careers. Contact us at health@geneseo.edu if you have any questions.

Cancellations and No-Shows

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. We will make every effort to accommodate you in these situations. We request that you partner with us by providing advance notice of your need to miss an appointment - see the How to Cancel procedures below.

There is a fee for those who do not show for scheduled appointments OR who cancel within less than 2 hours of their scheduled appointment time. A fee of $25 charged directly to your student account. If you believe you have been charged in error, call Health Services at 585-245-5736 or Counseling Services at 585-245-5716 to request that we waive your no show fee.
