Sexual Assault - Focus on Education (S.A.F.E.)--This section of our web site offers information, education, referrals, and resources for all types of sexual violence on the SUNY Geneseo campus.

WebMd--This comprehensive health site contains an A-Z health guide, an A-Z symptom list, descriptions of medical tests/exams, information on drugs (including prescription, non-prescription, and herbs), a section on Health-E-Tools, and much more. Try the Symptom Checker for information about possible causes of symptoms located in various areas of the body.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention--A government site; one of the premier sources for health information on the web. Includes health topics A-Z, publications, and medical statistics.

Dr. Koop--An interactive web site which provides visitors with comprehensive healthcare information on a wide variety of subjects. Includes special sections on men's health, women's health, weight loss, and natural medicines. by the American Academy of Family Physicians, this page contains general health information. Particularly helpful is the Symptom Checker section, which offers flow charts to determine when to seek medical attention. Este sitio en la red también está disponible en Español.

HealthCentral--A very good general medical site with separate sections for men's and women's health (click on the Health Centers link at left).

National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine--Check out the NCCAM site if you are looking for information on treatments such as acupuncture, homeopathy, and dietary supplements. extensive current and user-friendly GLBT health information with specific areas for health news, sex, drugs, emotions, images, food, and fitness. A health update listserv is also available.

HIV/AIDS Tribe--This free HIV/AIDS support community offers information, therapist blogs, a forum, and more.

Donation Coalition--This site focuses on educating and informing the public about organ donation. It includes facts about organ donation and information on how to become a donor. Also check out the government site for Frequently Asked Questions related to organ donation.

Connect & Breathe--This is a post-abortion nonjudgmental talk line resource; the toll-free listening line is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6-9 p.m.), and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by calling 800-647-1764.
