  • Entrepreneurship: A "Must Have" Skillset for Today's Workplace- Newton 201
Entrepreneurship is one of the fastest growing areas of study in colleges today- and it's not just about starting new businesses. Entrepreneurship is a mindset. It's about developing skills to help identify creative ideas and become an effective problem solver. This is a skill set needed for success in almost any career. Small businesses with fewer than 50 people are an important engine of today's economy- representing 55% of all American companies. Companies (including non-profits) need young talent that know how to respond to new opportunities and can respond quickly to market changes. Come join us for a presentation on how the study of Entrepreneurship benefits students in every field. The session will be facilitated by Steve Brookstein, Geneseo's new VanArsdale Chair for Entrepreneurship.

  • Study Abroad Information Session - Newton 214
Geneseo students are encouraged to discover educational experiences in countries throughout the world. With more than 45 programs in 20 countries, the possibilities abound. Hear from the experts: study abroad advisors, students and faculty.

FrMidtown Menom Boys to Men. THE MIDTOWN MEN reunites Stars From The Original Cast of Broadway’s Jersey Boys, making them the first vocal group ever formed by the principal cast of a high-profile Broadway show. After sharing the stage for over a thousand performances, Tony® Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony® Award nominee J. Robert Spencer decided to take their signature sound and chemistry to audiences everywhere, bringing to life their favorite 1960s hits.

The New York Times says, “Sidling up to the microphone, the singers had the air of the Rat Pack, Motown and a nightclub act rolled into one,” while the New York Daily News proclaims, “The Midtown Men sound as crisp as their Rat Pack-inspired suits. Their voices blend together so flawlessly on stage.” After a recent performance with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, The Oklahoman praised the Midtown Men for “a joyous and nostalgic trip through the music of the 1960s with terrific orchestral charts,” adding, “this high-spirited evening kicked the audience’s adrenaline into overdrive.”
