Classes

  • SPAN 202: Intermediate Spanish II

    A continuation of SPAN 201. Prerequisites: SPAN 201 or its equivalent.

  • SPAN 203: AcceleratedIntermediateSpanish

    This course is intended for students who have a strong high school background in Spanish. Reviews the fundamentals of structure and continues to develop the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Oral and written exercises are included. Reading materials emphasize cultural and contemporary topics. This course fulfills the Intermediate II language proficiency. Prerequisite: SPAN 201. Offered at least once every two years

  • SPAN 301: Written Communication

    Offers practice in expository writing with emphasis on clarity, structure and idiomatic expression, focusing on a variety of topial issues. Students are introduced to practical applications andprovided a review of selected grammar topics. Prerequisites: SPAN 202 or equivalent.

  • SPAN 316: Advanced Grammar & Syntax

    Study of complex structures and related concepts. Prerequisites: SPAN 301. Offered spring, odd years
