1,000 Donors in 30 days

There are thousands of reasons Geneseo is special, and a thousand more reasons to help Geneseo continue to be the special place it is.

The Fund for Geneseo needs 1,000 additional donors in the next 30 days to help reach our goals before the end of the fiscal year on June 30. Donations will help to fund scholarships, athletics, undergraduate research, faculty enrichment, academic departments and so much more.

We invite you to become 1 in 1,000 by contributing to The Fund for Geneseo. Every gift provides immediate support the most critical programs at the College - programs that define the educational experience at Geneseo and transform students' lives.

Throughout June, we will be featuring special ways to say 1,000 in Geneseo. Check back throughout the month to see how Geneseo is celebrating "1,000 Donors in 30 Days."

That's great! How does that compare to what we have resiad in past years?I would guess it is on the high side, which is a real sign of howcommitted everyone is to our planned growth! Thanks to everyone who hasdonated. I'd also love to know something about what percentage of parentsteachers and staff (as a whole) have donated that's an importantnumber for us from a fund raising perspective.

I'm from the class of 1958 and sent in a sizable amount in a check last month so am not sure why I received this e-mail from you unless it is a bulk mailing to all alumni.

Hi Gail! I checked in with the Fund for Geneseo; below is their response. --Laura Kenyon ---------- Hi Gail, I just double checked and we did indeed receive your gift. Thank you! When we pulled the contact list for this email, we excluded alumni, parents and friends who already made a gift this year. However, it takes a few days to generate this data and sometimes there is a lag between processing a gift and creating our email and mailing lists. Basically we crossed paths in the mail. If we had processed your gift a day earlier or generated our list a day later, you would not have received this email. Geneseo very much appreciates and values your support and generosity. Sorry for the double communication. We hope you enjoyed seeing the photos of campus! - Lisa Feinstein
