Vasilii Petrenko will present "Climate change in Earth's Past, Present and Future" on Thursday, Nov. 8 in Newton 202 from 4 - 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Petrenko is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester, Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences. He studies ancient glacial ice to answer questions about the Earth's climate, including its past carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations.
