GENESEO, N.Y. -- SUNY Geneseo's Department of Theatre and Dance and GENseng (Geneseo's Asian American Performance Ensemble) present "The Lost Women of Troy" by Hanoch Levin April 30 - May 3 at 7:30 p.m. and May 4 at 2 p.m. in Alice Austin Theatre in Brodie Hall.
Under the theatrical direction and choreographyt of Randy Barbara kaplan, professor of theater and dance, and Kimberly Rachel Olsen, a senior education major with a concentration in theater, the production takes place in the aftermath of all wars, acknowledging all women and their children who have suffered as the victims of conflicts they did not create.
It's the first time Geneseo has produced the work of an Israeli playwright, Hanoch Levin, who is popularly recognized in Israel as its national playwright.
