While many Geneseo PreHealth students choose to major in Biology, it is not a requirement.  Students are encouraged to select a major of study that is consistent with their interests. PreHealth students typically major in: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Psychology, Neuroscience (students apply to this major after their first year at Geneseo), and Sociology. By completing the prerequisite courses for professional school, students are building a rigorous science-based foundation that will prepare them for professional and graduate schools.

To schedule a general campus tour and/or sign-up for one of the Biology admission sessions, please contact the Admissions Office or visit their website.  These sessions are ideal for students interested in the PreHealth tracks. The sessions are offered most Fridays during the fall and spring semesters.  We strongly encourage students to attend with specific questions in mind.
