Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!
With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.
A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.
Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.
Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Geneseo Memories Campaign is oral history program—in collaboration with the Geneseo English Department and the Livingston County Office of the Aging—devoted to recording the folk traditions and history of the SUNY Geneseo community. Student volunteers will be trained in recording and transcribing dialects and dialogue, managing self-limiting stories and emphasizing self-empowering stories, and publishing recorded oral histories of senior citizens in the Geneseo community. The club will contribute magazines to the college highlighting their work with each senior citizen.
The Vet club allows students an outlet to learn and expand outside of the classroom. With limited available resources on campus, the club allows students ways to gain experience and knowledge by connecting students with experts in Geneseo and the surrounding community. These include connections to nearby farms where students may gain professional relationships and experiences in the veterinary field, connections to small animal practices in Monroe and Livingston County, and other methods of connecting to animals in the real world. The club contributes in giving back to the community through multiple volunteer activities such as club run fundraisers and assisting with organizational benefits such as Barktoberfest at Lollypop farm.
Educating the Geneseo community through drumming workshops and performances at events held by different groups in the Livingston county area.
