Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures. 

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Phi Delta Epsilon

Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity creates physicians of integrity with a lifelong commitment to our guiding principles of philanthropy, deity, and education through fellowship, service, mentoring, and formal training in leadership, science, and ethics.

Model United Nations at Geneseo

Our organization attends five conferences a year and has won awards while representing SUNY Geneseo in these competitions. We are proud to be ranked in the top seventy-five teams in the country for Model United Nations. While on campus Model United Nations strives to improve the lives and confidence of students by teaching important life-long skills. The purpose of the Geneseo Model United Nations Club is to promote the interest of students in international affairs and facilitate participation in simulations of international organizations, including but not limited to the United Nations. The club is open to any fee-paying student enrolled at Geneseo.

Minority Association for Pre-Health Students

MAPS of SUNY Geneseo will be inclusive of students interested in developing into compassionate and competent health cared professionals that are dedicated to serving minority and indigent communities. Community service is the “heart and soul” of the Student National Medical Association. Through Health Fairs, the HIP Corps (HIV Intervention Prevention Corps), Tissue and Organ Donation Education and Recruitment (TODER), Sexual Health Awareness programs and providing information about mental health, nutrition, neonatal care, STDs, the dangers of tobacco, SNNA and MAPS chapters members become better acquainted with surrounding communities and educate the community to reduce the alarming occurrence of diseases which impact on the quality of health and life.

Voices for Planned Parenthood

Voices for Planned Parenthood of the State University of New York at Geneseo exists to educate the University community about reproductive health and rights, to translate increased awareness into reproductive justice activism on campus, and to serve as a coalition partner to on campus, local, state, national, and international reproductive rights efforts.

Political Affairs Club

PAC is the political science department's resident academic club. We hold and conduct peer advisement, run events such as trivia tournaments and DC networking trips, and meet weekly to discuss current US, international, and political news. We hope to help political science students and the Geneseo student body as a whole remain aware and informed of the goings-on in the world around them.

Ski Team at Geneseo

To allow students, faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in a competitive ski environment. Competitive skiing provides a challenging and life long experience. This organization will be a positive representative of the college on local, state and national levels.

Circle K International

Our mission is to better the world and to foster a community of leaders who will continue to make a positive impact on the world throughout their lifetime. We participate in a variety of events such as the annual Kiwanis Caregiver Luncheon to thank caregivers in the area, the annual Amy's Walk and Theresa Walk, and the Kiwanis Halloween Parade on Main Street in Geneseo. We also have assisted in the maintenance of Oakwood Cemetery, collected donations for Comfort Cases, ran Bingo at a local Senior Living Center, participated in Adopt a Highway, and much more. We are always looking for new ways to get involved in the community and make the most of our free time.

Alpha Sigma Tau

The mission of the Alpha Sigma Tau National Sorority and its chapters shall be “to invest in women by instilling the skills necessary to navigate life, and inspire members to enrich their own lives and the lives of others.” \n\nThe purpose of the chapter is to promote the ethical, cultural, and social development of its members, specifically: \n\n1. To develop the chatacter of each member through a study of ethics so that she will show in all her relationships, sincerity, honesty, love, and understanding; and \n2. To help each member enjoy the cultural advantages in life so that she will know how to select those things which are most worthwhile; and \n3. To develop in each member the social graces to the extent that she will be able to take her place in life with true dignity and poise.

National Panhellenic Council

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) was established in 1902. It is an international umbrella organization which governs over and sets standards for 26 women's sororities over 620 campuses in the United States and Canada. NPC is the governing council for the three national sororities, and one local associate member sorority at Geneseo. We meet bi-weekly after the IGC meeting and are responsible for hosting Panhellenic recruitment.

Women's Rugby Club at Geneseo

We have a focus on teamwork on the field and off the field. Women’s Rugby Club at Geneseo does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, or sexual orientation.
