Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures. 

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Political Affairs Club

SUNY Geneseo’s Political Affairs Club (PAC) will engage in active dialogue in recent and historical political activities. The club is a safe space to participate in a bipartisan-led current events discussion. The focus will be on the United States political happenings but may extend to those outside of the country. We also coordinate fun events to broader one's understanding such as political debates, a trip to Washington D.C. in the Spring, and movie nights.

Women's Rugby

The women's rugby team competes in a Division 2 league in the fall semester and multiple tournaments throughout the spring semester. The team works to take those of all skill levels and turn them into well rounded rugby players with a love of the sport. The team practices five days a week, leading up to Saturday game days. The team gains a close relationship with each other, and make lifelong friends in the process.

Women's Club Volleyball

We have three teams of varying levels of commitment and skill level; tournament team, scrimmage team, and practice team.

Club Ultimate Frisbee

Co-ed Ultimate Frisbee engages in competitive practices three days per week throughout and competes in a variety of tournaments throughout the year. Our team is devoted to spreading awareness of the sport Ultimate Frisbee and embraces members of all skill sets. We seek to provide an inclusive environment where all members feel safe and welcome. Membership Eligibility requirements: completion of hazing workshop, attending practices, and paying dues, as well as attending a yearly SAFE zone and semesterly DICE training. All members must complete the Club Sport Liability Waiver and Constitutional Contract. Team Values Inclusivity - committed to providing a safe and welcoming place for people of all abilities, genders, cultural, ethnic, or religious backgrounds, sexualities, and socio-economic status. Respect - dedicated to treating every person we encounter with courtesy, politeness, and kindness. Men's Club Rugby

The Men’s Rugby team is devoted to learning and playing the sport of Rugby. We are all players and coaches and our goal is to perform at the highest level every game. We are also devoted to being an asset to the community of Geneseo both on-campus and off-campus. we commit ourselves to community service and enhancing the well-being of our peers and members of the Geneseo Community. We uphold in the conduct of our affairs all regulations of the College and the State University of New York.

Quidditch at Geneseo

Our purpose is to enable the students of SUNY Geneseo to compete regionally and nationally in the sport of Quidditch. The Quidditch at SUNY Geneseo team will be open to attending such events as; the Snowbelt Conference Opening Tournament, the Northeast Classic, and the USQ Regionals.

Men's Club Volleyball

The purpose of this club is to learn, teach and play volleyball in an organized manner. In addition, it will also participate in tournaments at other nearby colleges.

Fencing Club

Fencing Club will hold practices once a week to learn new fencing skills and improve upon them by competing against each other. At the end of the semester we will finish with a club-wide tournament to compete for prizes.
