Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures. 

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Hillel at Geneseo

Hillel at Geneseo is the Jewish student life organization on the SUNY Geneseo campus. Hillel at Geneseo is a beneficiary organization of the Jewish Federation of Rochester. Mission Statement: Hillel seeks to inspire every Jewish student to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life and values. Values include: Tikkun Olam- acts of loving-kindness, healing the world Tzedakah- Charity and acts of goodwill Mishpachah- family and community-building Hillel is committed to: Creating a meaningful Jewish experience and a strong diverse community for all students Welcoming the Sabbath and other holidays Listening to the community for new ideas and initiatives Educating the populace on pressing issues in Jewish culture and Israel

Student Coalition for Migrant Workers

The SCMW serves to help migrant workers, migrant students, as well as any Latinx student or person. This club will create community engagement opportunities between the Geneseo Community and the migrant workers community. The club will also help create different fundraising ideas to give out a scholarship to a Migrant/Latinx high school student who would like to attend college but does not have the resources. Finally, the SCMW will help tutor English classes for adults, and tutor different subjects to young children in the Tepeyac Welcoming Migrant Center.

Women's Club Soccer

The purpose of this organization is to create an inclusive team of athletes who are interested in playing soccer above the intramural level. With weekly practices and competitive gameplay, Women’s Club Soccer will provide a welcoming environment for those who wish to come together and play soccer.

  • Meet Times:
    Weekly on Mondays , Tuesdays , Thursdays at 6:30 AM in Saratoga Fields

Art History Club

Meetings are held weekly on Mondays at 7pm in Bailey 246. Meeting activities vary from week to week from trivia, to craft nights, to informational meetings. There are opportunities for service and fundraising. Trips to local art museums in Rochester are being planned.
