Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!
With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.
A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.
Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.
Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Geneseo Panhellenic ConferenceThe object of the Panhellenic Association shall be to develop and maintain women's fraternity and women's sorority life and inter-fraternity relations at a high level of accomplishment, and in doing so to: 1. Consider the goals and ideals of member groups as continually applicable to campus and personal life. 2. Promote superior scholarship as basic to intellectual achievement. 3. Cooperate with member fraternities and the College administration in the maintenance of high social standards. 4. Act in accordance with National Panhellenic Conference Unanimous Agreements and policies. 5. Act in accordance with such rules established by Panhellenic Council as to not violate the sovereignty, rights and privileges of member fraternities.

Elementary and Secondary Education AssociationESEA is an academic club that provides education majors with opportunities to explore careers in the teaching profession, to become involved in volunteering and tutoring opportunities in the community, to communicate between faculty and students, to increase awareness of educational issues as well as work to improve the quality of teacher education programs at SUNY Geneseo.

Men of Action and ChangeOn behalf of the organization Men of Action and Change, local chapter at the State University of New York College at Geneseo, all members are herein to swear by and uphold the statutes and codes inscribed in the following document. Men of Action and Change are inherently representative of themselves, as well as other members, at all times. They are to uphold the five core principles handed down by our forefathers of Service, Scholarship, Unity, Fitness, and Loyalty when conducting themselves both in private and public. We hold both on and off campus events.

Green Environmental Organization at GeneseoThe Green Environmental Organization's mission is to promote environmentally-friendly practices on our campus, in our community, in our state and in our world. In doing this we will promote good health, an inclusive environment, biological diversity and the sustainability of the Earth and its people. We do this by cleaning up right here in Geneseo, educating the Geneseo community and connecting with bigger environmental campaigns across the US.

Ghostlight ProductionsWe, the members of Ghostlight Productions (formerly known as Cothurnus), desire an exploration of theatre through a diversified selection of productions of the highest caliber, and to instill a desire for artistic achievement and appreciation in all students.

Pride AlliancePride Alliance is an on-campus group devoted to discussing LGBTQ+ issues, promoting activism in the queer community, and maintaining a safe space in which all students can thrive. Pride provides a relaxed and safe environment for anyone to share and learn about issues related to gender and sexual minorities in today's world. With the help of its members, Pride plans several Late Knight events such as Second Chance Prom and Drag Ball. We also offer many other on campus events such as the "LGBT? Fine By Me" panel discussion, speakers for National Coming Out Day along with Pride Night, which is an event to celebrate both the club and the cultures it promotes. Ultimately, our goal is to make the campus a better and more informed environment so all students can call Geneseo their home.

Animal Lovers of GeneseoWe want to promote education and awareness about safe and ethical treatment of animals, and promote responsible ownership practices for people who own any pets. Our goal is to bring people together to promote awareness about being a pet owner and the use of animals in laboratories. We plan on hold events that offer a safe and convenient meeting space to talk about our shared interest in animals. Events include raising money for local animal shelters, the ASPCA, Happy Animals Club, and other organizations that share our same goal. Another event is going to nearby animal shelters to offer support and doing a show and tell of local pets for animal therapy (restrictions permitting).

Students for LifeSUNY Geneseo Students for Life seeks to transform culture by encouraging young people to work to end abortion in the United States. This is done through engaging in trainings to effectively educate students and peers, participating in tabling and other events on campus and around the community.

Zeta Beta XiWe, the members of Zeta Beta Xi Fraternity at the State University of New York at Geneseo, in order to foster in college and perpetuate in the world outside, ties of friendship among college men, to inculcate them a proper veneration for democratic ideals, to assist them to exemplify in their own lives the highest ideals of their nation, and to form a society which shall forever cherish and promote these purposes, do ordain and establish the Constitution of the Alpha Chapter of the Zeta Beta Xi Fraternity.

Pre-Dental ClubOur club is designed to create a community for students who are looking to pursue a career in dentistry. We advise students and help give information on classes, standardized tests, the application process, interviews and more. We meet bi-weekly. We hope to help students as they go through the process of applying to dental schools. We also participate in off-campus events such as workshops at UB Dental School. As stated on the Geneseo website, dentistry is an important career for public health. A career in dentistry focuses on patient health/safety while also emphasizes human empathy and care for others. "Dentists diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth and mouth. They can perform surgical procedures such as implants, tissue grafts, extractions, and can improve the patient's appearance by using a variety of cosmetic dental procedures.
