Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!
With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.
A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.
Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.
Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

The Spine Breakers: A Book ClubA casual book club where students can come read books outside of an academic setting. We want to bring students together to give them a relaxing space to discuss books they enjoy. We will meet every other week and read 2-3 books a semester. We hope to hold more events this semester such as a book swap or a tote bag making event.

Physics & Astronomy ClubThe purpose of the Physics & Astronomy Club is to bring members of the Geneseo community together and to enrich the recognition of physics in everyday life. We host a plethora of events to promote scientific enthusiasm in the campus community; these events include (but are not limited to) research presentation nights, physics game nights, and a physics picnic held each year with the Geneseo Physics Department. In addition, we collaborate with other science organizations on campus (i.e. the Geology Club).

Circle K InternationalOur mission is to better the world and to foster a community of leaders who will continue to make a positive impact on the world throughout their lifetime. We participate in a variety of events such as the annual Kiwanis Caregiver Luncheon to thank caregivers in the area, the annual Amy's Walk and Theresa Walk, and the Kiwanis Halloween Parade on Main Street in Geneseo. We also have assisted in the maintenance of Oakwood Cemetery, collected donations for Comfort Cases, ran Bingo at a local Senior Living Center, participated in Adopt a Highway, and much more. We are always looking for new ways to get involved in the community and make the most of our free time.

Community Health AllianceThe Community Health Alliance is an organization of students at SUNY Geneseo who strive to aid local, regional and global communities in their health needs. As students, we will address these needs with two main goals: creating healthier communities and gaining knowledge through experience in the healthcare field. By partnering with communities (working with them, not for them) we aim to work compassionately and effectively for those we serve by exchanging appropriate knowledge and resources.
