Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!
With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.
A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.
Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.
Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Rotaract Club of SUNY GeneseoRotaract is an international service organization for young professionals, ages 18 to 30. Founded by Rotary International, Rotaract follows the same ideals such as high ethical standards, fairness, goodwill, and has a strong commitment to service and the community. Rotaract strives to build a better world through service. The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young adults to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. The goals of Rotaract are: 1. To develop professional and leadership skills; 2. To emphasize respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual, and to promote ethical standards and the dignity of all useful occupations; 3. To recognize, practice, and promote ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational responsibilities. 4. To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problems and opportunities on the community and worldwide. 5. To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and good will toward all people. 6. To uphold the conduct of its affairs all regulations of the College and the State University of New York.

Royal Lady KnightsThe Royal Lady Knights is a local sorority that serves as both a service and a social organization. RLK is the largest of its kind at SUNY Geneseo. The women of RLK are active members of the college campus as well as the community. On October 17, 1989, 20 women held a meeting in Erie Hall. This was the first meeting of the soon-to-be Royal Lady Knights. After many different names, the Royal Lady Knights was chosen and kept. "Come as you are" was decided as not only the motto, but also stands as the foundation for the organization. On February 22, 1990, the Royal Lady Knights were officially recognized as a campus wide organization. Laura Wrubel was acquired as the advisor of RLK. On September 24, 1990, the first open meeting was held, approximately 70 people attended! During the first class orientation, the RLK dance was created and has been modified since. In the Spring of 2013, along with social service organizations such as MAC and SMAC, the Royal Lady Knights joined the Inter-Greek Council and was recognized as a local sorority at SUNY Geneseo. After about 25 years of service, 50 orientation classes, and over 850 women later, RLK continues to celebrate and strives to grow with many more members to come!

Alpha Omega PiWe strive to promote closeness and personal growth through friendship and the exchange of thoughts, opinions, and feelings between all of the sisters of Alpha Omega Pi. Our organization aims to expand the participation of its members in academics by encouraging sisters to realize and acknowledge the full extent of their potential. We advance social interaction between greek life, the college, and the local community by coordinating activities and services that will be a benefit to the listed groups while maintaining the individuality and rights of those involved.

Geneseo Marketing ClubThe Marketing Club at Geneseo is committed to empowering students to build successful careers in marketing by providing them with projects, agency visits, networking opportunities, and presentations from marketing professionals. In the Fall of 2019, we became an official American Marketing Association (AMA) Chapter. As an AMA chapter, we can participate in more events including conferences and case competitions.

Geneseo Panhellenic ConferenceThe object of the Panhellenic Association shall be to develop and maintain women's fraternity and women's sorority life and inter-fraternity relations at a high level of accomplishment, and in doing so to: 1. Consider the goals and ideals of member groups as continually applicable to campus and personal life. 2. Promote superior scholarship as basic to intellectual achievement. 3. Cooperate with member fraternities and the College administration in the maintenance of high social standards. 4. Act in accordance with National Panhellenic Conference Unanimous Agreements and policies. 5. Act in accordance with such rules established by Panhellenic Council as to not violate the sovereignty, rights and privileges of member fraternities.

Caribbean Student AssociationThe Caribbean Student Association is dedicated to spreading awareness and educating about the Caribbean and Caribbean culture on campus. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and welcoming environment for Caribbean identifying students and all intersecting identities on campus.

Sigma Alpha MuSigma Alpha Mu has been a pillar in greek life for over a hundred years, built on fostering in all of its members the values of true manhood, democracy, and humanity. A Sammy strives to create an open and accepting atmosphere anywhere he is, whether it is in his own backyard or across the country.

Men of Action and ChangeOn behalf of the organization Men of Action and Change, local chapter at the State University of New York College at Geneseo, all members are herein to swear by and uphold the statutes and codes inscribed in the following document. Men of Action and Change are inherently representative of themselves, as well as other members, at all times. They are to uphold the five core principles handed down by our forefathers of Service, Scholarship, Unity, Fitness, and Loyalty when conducting themselves both in private and public. We hold both on and off campus events.

Korean American Student AssociationThe Korean American Student Association is a cultural club that is dedicated to educating and uniting those on campus who share an interest in Korean culture. We hold two annual events, one per semester, to help share Korean culture in an engaging and unique way. Our fall event is Running Man, which shares a name with and takes inspiration from a Korean variety show. Participants work in teams to complete mini games and gain the most points out of all teams playing. In the spring, KASA hosts K-Night, our cultural dinner. It is the biggest event of the year for us, complete with dinner, dances, skits, and a fashion show that is all written and performed by KASA members.

Animal Lovers of GeneseoWe want to promote education and awareness about safe and ethical treatment of animals, and promote responsible ownership practices for people who own any pets. Our goal is to bring people together to promote awareness about being a pet owner and the use of animals in laboratories. We plan on hold events that offer a safe and convenient meeting space to talk about our shared interest in animals. Events include raising money for local animal shelters, the ASPCA, Happy Animals Club, and other organizations that share our same goal. Another event is going to nearby animal shelters to offer support and doing a show and tell of local pets for animal therapy (restrictions permitting).
