Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!
With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.
A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.
Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.
Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Figure Skating Club at GeneseoPurposes of the club are to encourage the instruction, practice, and advancement of the members in moves in the field, freestyle skating, ice dancing, and all types of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a spirit of unity among ice skaters; to sponsor, to produce, or cooperate in the production of ice shows, as well as support each other at competitions; and to carry out the general policies of the United States Figure Skating Association.

Geneseo Crew ClubCrew is a tight-knit group of people who practice the sport the rowing. As a team they build connections with each other as they work towards their goals. Crew club is a way for students to build connections with their peers, to stay active, and enjoy the outdoors.

Women's Club RugbyThe women's rugby team competes in a small college league in the fall semester and multiple tournaments throughout the spring semester. The team works to take those of all skill levels and turn them into well rounded rugby players with a love of the sport. The team practices five days a week, leading up to Saturday game days. The team grows very close with each other and considers themselves a family.

Women's Club VolleyballThe club is open to any skill level as we distinguish 3 separate teams to let members participate as much as possible.

Co-ed Ultimate FrisbeeInclusivity - committed to providing a safe and welcoming place for people of all abilities, genders, cultural, ethnic, or religious backgrounds, sexualities, and socio-economic status. Respect - dedicated to treating every person we encounter with courtesy, politeness, and kindness. Open Mindedness - willing to consider new ideas and listen to the perspectives of all to foster a supportive environment

Pep BandThe Pep Band practices and performs music at mostly sporting and hockey events, but also at other events, to add to the atmosphere and promote school and team spirit. We also look to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere open to all individuals, musically or otherwise.

Mens Club RugbyThe Geneseo Mens Club Rugby team is coming off very successful 2021-2022 seasons being ranked nationally for both the Fall and the Spring. There is no experience needed to play and there are no tryouts as well.

African Student AssociationThe purpose of this organization is to act as the official representative of the African student body in matters affecting them at SUNY Geneseo. ASA is also dedicated to improving the quality of life of African Students at SUNY Geneseo by arranging social activities, and other cultural, and sporting events.

Best Buddies at GeneseoBest Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Specifically at our Geneseo chapter, members work together with the executive board to plan and attend recreational and life-skill activities to give the LIVES students a more immersive college experience.

Men's Club SoccerWe are a student-run on-campus organization that gets students together to get touches on the ball multiple times a week. In addition, we will compete with other local colleges against their club teams. Our goal is simply to have fun and play soccer. We aim to create a positive and inclusive environment for students looking to continue sharing a passion for the game.
