Do You Want to do Research in Hartvigsen's Lab?

I enjoy having students do research in my lab. Below are the guidelines for doing research with me. To do research in my lab you should follow these guidelines:

1. Decide if you really want to commit to doing research.

2. Decide who is the best person to supervise your research.

3. If you think I am the right person you should determine whether there is room in the lab for you during the proposed semester.

4. Devise a plan for your research. Find out what others have done and what I have done. Also, check out my Web site to get ideas.

5. Discuss your preliminary idea with me. After this, if approved, you should write up a brief, one page proposal outlining the research plan and goal.
